We are delighted to announce that our next production and the first in our new space here in Central Hall in the Viking Triangle will be Jimmy Murphy's short play Perfidia. Wriiten in 2012, Perfidia is a powerful and dramatic look at the effects of the demise of the Celtic Tiger - and centres on two young women from different classes of society. "Perfidia is on the pulse, contemporary Irish Drama...The ending is a chilling coup de theatre...Go see for yourself – and weep at the timely reality of this important piece of new writing from Jimmy Murphy" (VULGO)

Jimmy is one of Ireland's most important playwrights - his work embued with a great social conscience and incredibly real characters. Previously Red Kettle have produced the world premieres of Jimmy's plays - Kings of the Kilburn Highroad and The Castlecomer Jukebox.

Perfidia will run as part of our 'Emerging Directors' series of productions and open on June 11th 2013 - Directed by Frieda Ryan with Jenny Clooney and Sharon Clancy. Designed by Ben Hennessy.
